Rainier Waterproofing is based in Pretoria and operates throughout the Gauteng region covering both residential and commercial projects. Rainier Waterproofing was started by the late Andre Rainier in 2000, a qualified and practising architect since 1973. His sons, Garrett & Jerome took over the business as partners in February 2016.
Bitumen remains the most important base material that Rainier Waterproofing uses, predominantly making use of the following systems, as supplied by Darachem Industries (manafacturer of modified bituminous compounds for waterproofing since 1975).
Examples of surfaces that need Waterproofing:
Concrete roof decks, planters and flower boxes, under tiles of balconies, water retaining structures, vehicular trafficable areas, box gutters, expansion joints, parapets, around rainwater outlets, tanking, wooden boarded roofs, I.B.R or corrugated roofs, showers.
