Situated in the Upper Hout Bay Valley, close to Constantia Nek on the Constantiaberg Mountain Range and offering panoramic views of the back of Table Mountain, the Twelve Apostles & Orangekloof Nature Reserve is Sunbird Lodge offering 2 self catering apartments.

Sugarbird Apartment is an upstairs loft-style self catering apartment with a bright and sunny quality, created by a combination of sky lights, vibrant colour and space. There is a queen bed and downstairs bathroom, with a bath-shower combination. The beautiful kitchen is finished with beech and black granite and is continuous with the open plan dining area and lounge.

Ibis Apartment is a ground floor twin bedded apartment with garden & mountain views from all rooms. The bathroom has both a bath and separate shower and is spacious. The Lounge, dining room & kitchen are all in one and compact yet comfortable. Two lazy-boy recliners are well placed to get the best mountain & garden views, where one can watch the wild birds & squirrels frolicking in the garden.

Apartments are serviced twice a week.

The self catering apartments are set in a quiet suburban setting, surrounded by rugged, forested mountains. The garden is tiered with a paved sitting area and green grass on the topmost level, and lends to outside dining, braaing and sundowners. On the lower level is the pool. Great for passing away quiet, relaxing times, when not frantically trying to visit all the major tourist attractions.

Sunbird Lodge is within easy access of the breathtakingly beautiful attractions of the Peninsula. Such highlights as Constantia Nek, Kirstenbosh, The Constantia Wine Route, the quaint Hout Bay fishing village, spectacular Chapman”s Peak as well as the secluded sandy beaches of Llandudno, Sandy Bay and Long Beach are only minutes away. The exciting Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and the beautiful City of Cape Town with its many attractions and bustling night life, are a short 20-25 minutes drive away. Within 25 – 30 minutes drive from False Bay suburbs, Simonstown our naval base, Kalk Bay a quaint small fishing harbour. Boulders Beach with its Penguin colony & Cape Point, where the Indian & Atlantic Oceans meet are within a 35-45 minute drive away.
