Unique Panel & Spray

Unique Panel & Spray is competent to perform “Major Structural Repairs” (MSR). Unique repairs around 2 600 vehicles per year (i.e. 50 vehicles per week).

Unique has fully equipped spray booths, primer bays, various dry flat equipment, hoists, Korek Chassis Straightener, Chassis benches and a factory approved paint system.

Unique Panel and Spray was established by Basil Lamohr in Grassy Park in 1995. He started the business after spending 12 years working as a spray painter. With an assistant he took the task of repairing, stripping and assembling vehicles from humble beginnings.

Basil has always concentrated on achieving exceptionally high quality workmanship with emphasis on quality control. Unique now employs a staff of 20 full time employees. Unique also has a 100% BEE rating with regard to ownership, management, employment and skills development.

Unique also provides courtesy vehicles to customers where needed and the premises is secured 24/7 by local security company – ADT.

Unique operates from its 1200 m² workshop in Auto Village, situated in Tokai, which can house ±60 vehicles. The premises are situated close to the Main Road within close proximity to some of the larger new/used motor dealerships which includes Renault, Kia, Toyota, Barons & Nissan.
